Simmer pears in it, mix it into whipped cream icing. Cherry Honeywine should retain its fruity flavor for 6 months to a year, or longer if kept cool i.e. cellar temperature. We have enjoyed some bottles of aged cherry honeywine; it took on a mature less fruity flavor.
